Superior Comics is an independent comic publisher and the sole owner of all original characters, storylines, artwork, digital comics, merchandise designs, and related intellectual property displayed or sold on superiorcomics.store.

We take copyright protection and digital piracy seriously.

1. Ownership of Intellectual Property

All content published, sold, or distributed by Superior Comics is protected by United States and international copyright laws.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • All comic books (digital and physical)

  • PDF downloads

  • Characters

  • Storylines and dialogue

  • Artwork and illustrations

  • Logos and branding

  • Merchandise designs

  • Promotional materials

  • Website text and images

All rights are reserved.

No rights are granted except those expressly stated in our Terms of Service.

2. Strict Prohibition on Unauthorized Distribution

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Uploading our digital comics to file-sharing websites

  • Sharing PDFs via email, cloud storage, Discord, forums, or social media

  • Selling printed or digital copies without authorization

  • Creating derivative works based on our characters or storylines

  • Minting NFTs of our artwork

  • Using our artwork for AI training datasets

  • Reproducing our work in part or in full without permission

Purchasing a digital comic grants a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license only. It does not grant ownership or redistribution rights.

3. Monitoring & Enforcement

We actively monitor for unauthorized distribution of our intellectual property across:

  • Torrent platforms

  • File-sharing websites

  • Social media platforms

  • Online marketplaces

  • NFT marketplaces

  • AI dataset repositories

If infringement is detected, we may take immediate action including:

  • DMCA takedown notices

  • Copyright strikes

  • Account termination requests

  • Payment processor complaints

  • Marketplace removal requests

  • Civil legal action

We reserve the right to pursue statutory damages, actual damages, and legal fees where applicable.

4. Statutory Damages Warning

Under U.S. copyright law, infringement may result in statutory damages of up to $150,000 per infringed work, plus legal costs and attorney’s fees.

Unauthorized distribution of digital comics is not “harmless sharing.” It is copyright infringement.

5. No Tolerance for Commercial Exploitation

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward:

  • Reselling our digital comics

  • Printing and selling bootleg copies

  • Producing unauthorized merchandise

  • Commercial fan art using our protected characters

  • Crowdfunding projects using our IP without permission

Any commercial exploitation of Superior Comics intellectual property without written authorization will result in legal enforcement.

6. Reporting Piracy

If you encounter unauthorized distribution of our content, please report it to us through the contact form on:

Include:

  • A link to the infringing content

  • Screenshots (if available)

  • Any relevant details

We appreciate community support in protecting independent creators.

7. Good Faith Fan Content

We appreciate fans and community engagement. However:

  • Fan art may not be sold without written permission.

  • Fan projects may not imply official endorsement.

  • Use of our content must remain non-commercial and respectful.

Failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
